How to access the Team Effectiveness Dashboard

The Herrmann Team Effectiveness Dashboard is a 10–15 minute online diagnostic that helps teams evaluate their focus, alignment, and collaboration. As a Certified Practitioner, you’ll manage participation and reporting through Axon. This article explains how to set up access, send invitations, and prepare for your team debrief session.

 

⚙️ How to Access the Dashboard in Axon

  1. Confirm Access and Licensing

    • Coordinate with your Herrmann representative to ensure your Axon account has the proper permissions and active licenses for the Team Effectiveness Dashboard.

  2. Create an Invitation

    • Log in to Axon and select Create Invitation.

    • Follow the same process you use for the HBDI® Assessment.

    • When prompted, choose Team Effectiveness Dashboard as the Diagnostic type.

    • Review your invitation details, then send it to participants.

  3. Allow Participants to Complete the Assessment

    • Each participant receives an email invitation with their unique link.

    • Encourage them to complete the 37-question assessment within the provided deadline.

  4. Run the Report

    • Once all participants have completed the assessment, go to Run Reports in Axon.

    • Select Team Effectiveness Dashboard Packet.

    • Use the search filters to locate your group’s name.

    • Select all assessments and click Run Report to generate the full team packet.

  5. Prepare for the Debrief

    • Download the Facilitator Guide and Sample Report from the Herrmann Practitioner Resources portal.

    • Review the team’s responses, quadrant data, and open-ended comments.

    • Use these insights to plan your team debrief and identify key discussion points.

💡 Practitioner Tip

It’s strongly recommended that the team complete the HBDI® Assessment and participate in an HBDI® Team Profile debrief before using the Team Effectiveness Dashboard. This ensures participants already have a shared understanding of Whole Brain® Thinking and their team’s cognitive diversity.
