Why is there a difference between my HBDI® Team Report and the Teams view?
Differences occur because the HBDI® Team Report PDF is a static snapshot from the time of creation, while the Teams view in Axon/Thinker Portal reflects real-time data using each member’s latest shared assessment.
You may notice a small difference (often 1 point, sometimes more) between the Team profile scores shown in your HBDI® Team Report PDF and the scores in the Teams view in Axon or the Thinker Portal. Both are correct; they’re just using slightly different data:
-
The Team Report PDF: Uses the assessments selected by the CP at the time the report was originally created.
-
The Teams View in Axon: Always uses each person’s latest active HBDI® assessment and includes only assessments that have been shared. So if a user retakes the assessment or decides NOT to share it with the team, this output will differ from the Team Report PDF.
If a participant takes a new assessment after the group was created, the PDF reflects the older results, while the Teams view reflects the new ones. This can create small multi-point differences in some quadrants, but it is not a rounding or calculation error.
