Last updated June 25, 2026
June brought a wave of refinements to the Whole Brain® AI Playbook, plus fixes to team notifications and error pages.
- Improved: Simplified the Whole Brain Profile so sections like Communication, Frustration, and Trust now display automatically as you complete Journey activities, with a new “Revise Content” button to jump straight to updating them.
- Improved: Playbooks are now named after your specific challenge instead of your job title, making them easier to tell apart.
- Improved: Smoothed out scroll behavior when navigating between Playbook sections.
- Improved: Broadened the Playbook’s language to cover any business or personal challenge, not just “AI challenges.”
- Improved: Added a custom introduction to playbook-ready email notifications.
- Fixed: Low-contrast text next to the Playbook input form.
- Fixed: Removed the Microsoft CoPilot option from Playbook prompt cards since it didn’t support direct linking.
- Fixed: Team notification emails weren’t going out to everyone added to a team, regardless of their sharing settings.
- Fixed: Team creation failed or appeared blank for some organizations when members hadn’t yet unlocked their results or opted into sharing.
- Fixed: Missing Signals survey data for the “build relationships” element after a terminology update.

May 2026
Last updated May 28, 2026
May focused on migrating remaining users to the newest Journey experience and fixing related profile and translation issues.
- Improved: Migrated remaining Journey 1 and Journey 2 users to Journey 3, automatically carrying over existing profile activities — About Me, Communication, Trust, and more — into one combined Profile section.
- Fixed: Some Whole Brain Profile tabs were missing after moving from Journey 2 to Journey 3.
- Fixed: The “Get Results” unlock activity was missing from My Journey after an organization’s migration to Journey 3, which had blocked some users from entering their unlock code.
- Fixed: Users with a non-core language setting, for example Dutch or Italian, saw a loading error instead of their Journey content; these now fall back to English automatically.
- Fixed: A mistranslated button in the German version of the Signals section linked to the wrong page.
- Fixed: Several German invitation text errors, including inconsistent tone and a broken Help Center link.
- Fixed: Chinese-language PDF reports displayed incorrectly, with missing characters and broken layout, when opened in Adobe Acrobat.
April 2026
Last updated April 30, 2026
April was our biggest release of the year so far, headlined by the launch of the Whole Brain® AI Playbook and a redesigned sharing experience.
- New: Launched the Whole Brain® AI Playbook — a personalized AI guide built from your HBDI® profile. It includes a consent step before using any AI feature, a “My Playbooks” page to track your history, an email notification when your playbook is ready, and admin-configurable limits on how many playbooks you can generate.
- New: Added a “Profile Customization” toggle to your permissions page so you can opt in or out of Herrmann’s AI-powered features.
- New: Replaced the old support widget with an AI-powered chatbot that answers questions, suggests help articles, and lets you submit a ticket without leaving the page.
- New: Added a sharing status badge to the Sharing page and Teams listings, so you can see at a glance whether you’re Sharing, Limited Sharing, or Not Sharing.
- Improved: Reworked how sharing works for Thinking Groups — you’re now added automatically when invited, with sharing off by default, and you can turn sharing on or off per group, or leave any group, at any time.
- Improved: Updated terminology across the platform from “Team” to “Group/Team” and “teammates” to “collaborators” to better reflect how different organizations describe themselves.
- Improved: Refreshed the Journey Modes page graphic and updated its terminology from “Convergent/Divergent” to “Rational/Intuitive.”
- Fixed: Chinese Simplified translations not displaying correctly in Journey 2.
- Fixed: Consent text occasionally appearing in English regardless of your selected language.
- Fixed: A blank screen at sign-in for users with certain less-common language settings.
- Fixed: UK English users seeing raw placeholder text instead of translated content in a few places, including the home page and Whole Brain Profile.
- Fixed: Team members not receiving an email notification when added to a team created through Axon.
- Fixed: Deep linking not working consistently across every part of the platform.
- Fixed: A brief error that blocked some organizations from sending HBDI® invitations.
- Fixed: Formatting and translation errors in German invitation emails.
- Fixed: Some Channel Partners in China unable to delete Teams.
- Fixed: Users with a non-English language preference, for example Spanish, sometimes seeing English content in HBDI® and Journey assessments.
March 2026
Last updated March 26, 2026
March’s headline change was deep linking, alongside several sign-in and admin-tool fixes.
- New: After signing in, you’re now taken straight to the page you originally wanted instead of always landing on the home page.
- Fixed: Your email address is now locked once you create an account from an invitation link, so it always matches the invite you were sent.
- Fixed: Sign-in errors on shared devices, such as kiosks or testing stations, caused by a previous user’s session not fully clearing.
- Fixed: The Edit Team screen not displaying the correct organization on save.
- Fixed: An issue that prevented updating an account’s email address in Axon.
- Fixed: Admin batch updates that failed for an entire group if even one member didn’t need the change.
- Fixed: Duplicate and untranslated terms in the German HBDI® Assessment dropdown menus.
