Manage HBDI® Invitations and Seats: FAQs & Troubleshooting

Q: I clicked Revoke but the seat didn’t return to the license. Why?
A: After Revoke, you must also click Delete for that seat. Revoke alone keeps the seat available to reuse within the same invitation.

Q: I see a license warning when bulk‑removing seats.
A: Choose the same license that originally provided those seats, then click Remove Seats.

Q: Should I close or delete?

  • Close if there are any completions or activity; it returns unused seats and keeps a record.

  • Delete only if the invitation was never used.

Q: Can I re‑open a closed invitation?
A: Typically no; instead, create a new invitation when you need to collect more completions.

Q: Will closing an invitation notify invited Thinkers?
A: Yes—invited but not‑completed Thinkers get an email that the invitation was revoked.
